The football season has come to a close… games have been played… goals have been kicked and marks have been taken. Now it is time to recognise the feats performed on and off the field during the 2010 season. The end of season presentation night will be held at Sidebar Grille (221 N LaSalle) on Saturday November 13th.

The night will be a Red, Black and White themed party. So dust of your missus and frock up in your best Red/Black and/or White gear for the presentations and to re-live some of the greatest moments of the 2010 season.. Has Rocky done enough this year to claim back-to-back Runaway Train awards? Will OBK’s spoil on BJ lift him to challenge for the Metro B&F? Is Hoyt’s scintillating form in front of goal enough to clinch the MacGlashan medal?

The night kicks off at 7pm and will conclude around 11pm where we will head over to Benchmark to continue the party.

The Chicago Australian Football Association will once again be hosting Chicago’s only OFFICIAL AFL Grand Final party. As the season rounds up back in Australia there are a number of contenders for the cup… Can the Pie’s do big Al proud? Will Freo bounce back from losing their gun in Barlow? What supplements are the Bulldogs taking as they surge into the top four? The only thing for certain is that this is one Grand Final that the Tigers won’t be attending!

There has been a good response so far for tickets to our Anzac Day commemeration @ Brownstone Tavern. We still have space for more. This is a main fund raising event for the club, which will benefit you come October when we head down to Louisville for Nationals; get on board lads, bring your girlfriends, wives, man friends and your family. You must purchase tickets on line.

Rumor has it that a certain Chicago player has nominated himself to eat more meat pies than anyone else! This will be a sight worth seeing (or not!). Yes the Brownstone are going to have meat pies available.

Tickets ($30), you must purchase in advance from www.chicagofooty.com to guarantee entry; includes drink package (beer, wine & soda) for 3 hours (7:30-10:30pm). Tickets are also available for $10 without the drinks package.

The big ANZAC Day clash between Essendon and Collingwood will also be televised live.
